Nikki fuel float question

i searched and couldnt find anything relevant to this.

I ordered a couple replacement fuel floats at advance auto. One has arrived and the other will arrive tomarrow. Well, i noticed that both of the floats have same part number, but the floats that came outta the carb are a matched pair with a left and right float. Do i need to order another matched set, or can i just use two identical floats?

on another note, where, other than from another 12a carb, can i find a replacement fuel float pin?

I'm a noob, dealing with Advance Auto retards. Turns out they don't even stock secondary floats in their warehouse, so i ordered one from autozone.

Admin can delete my stoopid thread

i'm stupid sorry to waste you guy's time

Just to clear this up, the floats are mirror images of each other so they are not identical, that is if your floats look like this. The other float has the indentation on the other side.

FFS autozone is FTL. nobody has these damn floats. I'm gonna check one import store around here, otherwise i'm buying from that guy previously posted.

EDIT: everybody has the Primary float, but nobody has a secondary

on a side question: i lost one of the fuel float pins (it was sitting in the bottom of a bucket of carb cleaner until mommy trashed it what i deserve for leaving this car at her place so long). Is that gonna be a part i can find in any mazda carb, or do i need to tear one out of another nikki? would any machine shops be able to cut a matching pin if i took them mine?

Ha Ha, I just took pictures when I took apart the carb last year. I was thinking about posting them all up but seeing how anyone with a haynes manual can see the same teardown it seems a little reduntant dont ya think?

Flight Doc89, someone on the forum can probably send you one. Either in this thread, or you could post a want to buy ad in the 1st gen buy and sell section.
