Does anyone know of a video on the complete installation guide for the Nikki carb on a first gen (1981 specifically). I didn't remove and disassemble the carb myself just came that way so I rebuilt it and I have no idea what hoses go where and what links connect to what even from checking manuals and the vacuum diagram on my hood.
I really think a video would be the best bet but I haven't found anything that really does it.
There are no videos that I know of. It takes a bunch of research by going through the parts manual and Factory Service Manual. There are a few colors rats nest pic that help that people have made. Images like this can also help. I foud this doing a Google search. Believe me, it's not fun. I've done it myself.

Sorry for the crazy late response but first things first that engine setup is GORGEOUS, just stunning to look at.
Thank you for providing some info, everything in there is so helpful including the video! I was actually watching that one and it reminded me to respond and that is the best video I've found so far.
I think you seriously just saved me like an easy 2 hours of work, when I have time I'm going to take off the solenoid rack and try to do what you did in that photo and do a mock hookup.
