Friends Carb Video *help him plz*

Ok my friend asked me over today to look at his 85 Rx7 because it was idling rough after some carb spraying around I could find no vac leaks Check the video out it show me spraying carb cleaner directly into the carb and the engine will smooth out until you rev it any then it goes back to the rough idle any idea or answers would be helpful I am stuck on this one

well the first thing I would do is remove the rats nest the problem may be in there... And I don't see what the purpose of spraying fluid down the carb is, the whole point of it is to change the idle like that when you find a vacuum leak... I would first remove the rats nest double check where the timing is, then adjust the mixture screw a bit on the carb... Or even better yet go for an aftermarket carb...
