I'm rebuilding the carb on my '80 GS, and I can't find a replacement diaphragm and gasket that I need. It's for the large diaphragm that the anti-afterburn solenoid attaches to. The diaphragm is shot (25 years old), and I want to do a 100% rebuild regardless of condition. I have 2 rebuild kits (VB and GP Sorenson) and neither came with this specific diaphragm. Where can I get a replacement, and if I can't buy one is there a way I can have one custom made? Thanks.

Your local Mazda Dealer can get it in an OEM kit. Check Mazdatrix, too.

 

mazdatrix doesn't have them, and niether does my mazda dealer...anywhere else I can look to get a replacement?
