Nikki better than RB Holley 465????

Which carb. would be better for daily driving and getting a good avg. gas mileage, But still have good power??? I'm running a holley 465 and have a pretty decent amount of power. But, the down side is that im only averaging around 15 to 16 mpg.

I have read that a stripped nikki gets good mileage but takes away from the power. which would be the better choice???

the nikki will get u better mileage but u will sacrifice some power. trust me, it's noticeable. in my case, i live with the mileage.

I've ran a RB Holley, the power was awesome but my mpgs kept me broke. I'm running a stripped Nikki on a Judge Ito Sp 12A. I really miss the Holley but the Nikki is getting me 21mpg.

With a stock port 12A any of these carbs tuned right (Nikki, Holley, Weber, Dell)
should get you around 22-23 highway and 17 city.

You need to work on tuning your carb better and also don't forget a lot of other
things can contribute to mileage; ignition system, cooling system, tire pressures,
vacuum leaks etc.

The holley I ran with my large SP 12A was a RB holley 465 that I tuned and rejetted. I got 18 city and 27 highway.
