Need to rebuild our project nikki carb, the previous owner took it all apart and now I don't know how it goes back together. What rwbuild kit is needed?

i know at one point the Hygrade (sp?) kit was recommended by older heads on the board, but i'm not sure if that's still the case. i was looking about 3-4 years ago and didn't see them anywhere i looked. i eventually got another kit and used it.

at any rate, here are some links. they are kind of old though.

on a separate note ... why did you post this in the builds section? maybe have one of the Gen 1 Forum Moderators or an Admin move it?

Atkins has somer. Don't know the brand though. When buying from Atkins, be aware that they list the factory part numbers on their site. You might be inclined to think they parts are factory when in fact some are not. You'd have to call them to know of a particular part is actually factory. For the carb rebuild kits they have, I can day they are NOT factory, The factory kit hasn't been available for some time now. Not saying their parts are bad, just that they are not all factory.

MazdaTrix also has them: https://mazdatrix.com/product/carb-r...kit-rx7-79-83/

You want to use the Hygrade or Standard rebuild kit on rockauto (it should have metal sealing washers). ~$30 or so. Keep your factory needle valve and seats. Don’t touch the floats.

i can't remember if the kits come with an annotated diagram or not, but even if they don't, you can always find one online and print it.

if you need help beyond that, then simply post photos of the parts you're having trouble identifying or finding where they go, and someone here will help you.
