next modification.........

at the start of spring im getting everything tuned, and fixed, along with the addition of a civic Electric fan. but i was interested in adding another mod. the lightened steel flywheel sounded pretty interesting. do you think if i have enough money, to get that, and hold of on a clutch. i recently purchasedthe standard clutch replacement. and it doesnt have many miles on it. the engine and transmission have about 100,000 miles on it. so its not time for a rebuild (and port).

i have about $300 saved up as of now. and i am okay with pooring every bit of money into my rx7, aslong as i get food and shelter from my perents

Judging from your Sig it would seen to be the most logical step and would really liven the car up. Why not get an aluminum flywheel, your car will rev like a bike. Theyre fine on the street, as long as your motor is tuned well. A stock replacement clutch will last quite a while under moderate use/abuse but just dont go doing any redline launches or anything like that, It will fragment. Well whatever flywheel you put in there you will have the oppurtunity to inspect the clutch at that time and make a judgement call on its condition.

My lightened came with a counter weight. Make sure you get the right counter weight with you flywheel or it'll shake it's *** off!

I'm in Richmond, Indiana. It's about 45 minutes due East of Indy. From what I've seen there are a bunch of 1st gen owners in bloomington. Do you see lots of other first gens there? I'd like to meet up with some other first gen owners sometime, but alas my car is not ready yet....

go with the flywheel i love mine... or maybe a shock tower brace, that could help your handling.that is if you dont already have one. oh yeah by the way the racing beat flywheel does come with a counterweight...
