Question Newbi needing some help

Hey guys I am brand new to the board and to RX7. I bought a 1983 for 200. It was completely stripped out. The front end was put back together but that was about it. the motor is gone the tranny is gone and the rear end is gone. What I would like to do is put a 13bt with an LSD in the rear into it. I plan on using it for autocross. I can post some pix of it later. How hard is this going to be? I have found the motor and tranny for about 900 but I dont have a ton of money to put in to itright now.

it depends how good you want it,, usually upgrading one thing means upgrading another to accomidate it.. so if you start looking into suspension then plan on spending another grand or so on doing it right..

an lsd ( from a gsl se) will cost you anywhere from 100-300 or more depending where you get it,,,

a donor car may be a good idea,, theres a ton of information on this forum on different mods, tons of t2 swaps like you are planning,,

"How hard is it going to be"? well how good are you,, how much time do you have, do you have a gf, cause you might need to dump her for the car....

let me be the first to say welcome to the forum, aswell id like to be the first to tell you about the search button,, (allot of people will tell you to "use the search" if you ask a generic question, or one thats been asked allot before)

welcome
