Replacing the pumpkin....

Hey guys... going to put a new 4.44 pumpkin in the car tommrow... How do you pop the axles out? Just pull the 4 bolts off the backing plate and pull the axle out?

yes and install the brake drums or rear disk backwards, put the lug nuts back on but not too tight. leave it some slack, then jack on it. spare tire would work too.

I use a chain onto two opposite studs then put a piece of pipe through the loose chain and jerk the pipe away from the housing, works great and it's cheap.....Oh and calipers or drums have to be removed first....obvious but...
