I order to get it to pass you need to have the air pump in place and working as well as the cats and emission equipment.

Post a WTB thread in your regional forum for the pump and any missing emission items. Someone will probably have those items for very cheap.

I have an airpump and stock exhaust for an 83 you can have if you want them. The exhaust is manifold and both cats. They are somewhat clogged, but will probably pass emissions. I can't guarantee that since I never had mine tester with them on. PM me if interested. I just need to get them out of the garage so if free is cheap enough let me know.

Partially clogged cats is not an offer of help, only more trouble.

It may be possible to pass emissions with just the air pump and a a rotary rated replacement cat such as the one in the following link.

http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/saexhaust.html

Best option is to restore the emissions systems to stock, then remove after inspection.

If offering a part to someone for free is no help at all I guess I am a little confused. The air pump worked perfectly when I removed it and I think the cats are clogged, I didn't confirm that. I removed everything while I was just getting the car running. Anyway I can take them to the metal yard if he doesn't want them. No skin off my back.

Yes, you are confused. Offering partially clogged cats won't help the original poster, only cause him more grief. Critical reading is important if one wants to help/contribute to the forum. You apparently neglected to so as I said nothing concerning the rest of your offer, only the partially clogged cats.
