From a stock +20 offset, 1.5" spacers will add around 35mm. I would say -5 offset or more.

52mm to sit the same as stock i think. 1.5" =38mm... with a 1" you can run run fwd. 40 mm offset. i think this is correct. do you have the adaptors yet???

^^^^^^he may have something there...but not quite that much offset.

I had a 25mm spacer to change 110 to 114.3pcd on my Rx2. I ran a 7" wide wheel with a +5 offset. It stuck out about 1/2 inch. So to bring the wheel back into the wheel well, it would need a higher offset, but I think +40 may be too much.

It depends on the size of wheel you want to fit really....many ozzy's run 8" Simmons on the rear of their 1st gens. but they are the 114.3 pcd. in many cases.

A 7-inch wheel with a decent lip...i'm now thinking more like +30. If you have the adaptors already, go to a reputable wheel place and do some trial fitting. Most decent shops should be able to help you out.

The pic shows the 7-inch wide +5 offset with the one inch spacer on a stock Rx2.

rx7 is a -10mm offset rwd...
1 inch= to 25mm
I had a 83 toyota corolla in wich is almost the same offset as the RX7.
When I used the adapter spacer I used to buy rims for a honda in wich is a 40 or 30mm with no problem..
Now I have a gsl se rear on current rx7 car and im using a 50mm offset 15 inch wheels w/195/50/15 it seats tucked in about 1/2 inch into the car with no rubbing or spacers.
My advise to you is to buy honda (accord) aftermarket rims.
from my experience if you plan using the car daily you are better off with 15 inch rims. But for show and the car wont feel heavy 17 inch max.
hope this helps

you are OK with the 1inch=25mm adapter to run a 40mm offset. with no rubbing problems.

The FC stock offset is a +40. You could check with the guys using the Vert wheels to see what size spacers they used
