New toy

I knew I'd be back eventually, after getting rid of my 84 due to emissions/lack of place to keep it.

Picked her up tonight. 82 GSL. Seems to be in decent shape. Needs some work, but I'm ok with that. Suspension, exhaust, so forth. Eventually I'd like to turn it into a full IT-A/7 car (a few years and several K later that is), but for now mainly track/autocross so I can retire the FD from that.

So what are you gonna do for tires? Are those all FD rims in the corner?

Nice find, dude.

Yes Crit, those are all FD rims. There's another stack too .

I'll put up more pics when I get her cleaned up after I get back from vacation.

Guy wanted $1900 for it, but I got him down to a bit over half that. Probably could have held out for a better deal, but an 82 is a good year for me (no more emissions testing) and it's a GSL. Runs pretty good. That, and the A/C even works . And I can sell of the stereo and glass roof to offset some of the cost .

Should be a fun project. Just need to get the suspension sorted out ASAP.

Looks like a good find from the pics. Its a good thing you talked him down though. 1,900 dollars is quite a bit of money. So long as the car runs good though I'd say you got yourself a good deal. Good luck with it.
