I love it.

How hard is it to lay fibreglass anyway? I'm not too fond of having a big bulky box in the back of my car.

There is always someone with a smartass remark. V8Kilr you always talk about stereo's, where is your pictures? This is the beginning if you read (can you).
Drj419 I live in Farfield County. There is a meet on June 5th @ 3:00 on the Berlin Turnpike at Hooters. I will be there.

Bizarro, he only pics I have are the ones on my webpage. I cut out all the rust and sprayed it with an anti rust agent. He fine tuned the areas and patched it up.

Fair enough.
I keep the bumps in the Woo

Here is the inside, with the clarion head unit.
At the time it was purchased it was 2nd from top of line from clarion.

The subs

And the port tubes where switched out for 2 6x9's for more midrange

Man that back lid is dirty huh.
The amps are 2x OPTI2X300D (Lanzar Optidrive)
Their 600 watt a piece, each sub is DVC and each amp is ran @ 2 ohm

Here is my head unit in my GTU

a little old school but gets the job done.
As long as the head unit has built in crossovers for the front and rear speakers im happy.

I would put the system in one of the rx7's but because I drive the woo a fair amount ( cause its good on gas and dependable) I need to keep the bumps in it.
Lets face it, the woo needs every little bit of help it can get just so you dont get pointed and laughed at.

Surprisingly enough I get alot of complements about the system and interior and how everything matches in color.
I always get gay ricers asking who did the interior, what a bunch of homo's. LMAO

btw If you would like to see the system in my truck I can upload those as well.
It sports 2 12's couple of amps, etc..., etc...
Truck system sounds the best but I dont have pics uploaded and the g/f took it to grandrapids today to go visit some freinds.
just lmk

And just to let you know, I was only kidding about your box.

Oh for cripes sake V8kilr, why are you bumpin Volfenhag's? Those things are the biggest peices of ****, every friggen person at my school has those things and they're just for looks. They're all flashy red, but sound like mudd. You can buy them new at a pawn shop. That really makes me mad when people buy those things and think they have a killer system. Sorry i just had to vent.

In my opinion I think mine is one of the better first generation systems I have seen on this page. i can be wrong, but not too many people post pictures of their systems. The only reason I'm even posting what I do is because people always ask how to do things and I know how to do them, so I thought I'd share. I hope others can get some knowledge of what a 7 can do.

My 2 cents

John

nice system John. So you will have a total of 3 subs, correct?

Today or tomorrow i should have my new box in, should bring my subs down to 19 or 20hz, and should ****** POUND the volume.

Then next on the list for the stereo is to get a pair of JBL 125w RMS amps for my speakers.

Again, looking sweet man! i cant wait to see the finalized version

whens the next sound off?

I paid $75 for both.

There not in their any more, I swapped them out for 2 JBL GTO subs instead.
