New Rear Brake Lines - Pre-Bent
The rear steel brake lines on my rear axle are corroded and need replaced. Is there a source that sells them or do I need to fab them up myself? Mazda lists a part number but there are none in the country.
I have the tools needed, just not the time and patience!
Thanks!

I read your email
I fab up lines for mine. You do need a bending tool and it takes a little practice but it's doable. Plan on buying a couple of lines before you get it right because the slightest kink and it's toast. DOH! One of the hardest things was getting the proper hardline. My advice is to pull the old lines off in one piece and bring 'em to the auto store so you can match up the length and proper end fittings. The end flare style was not common and I had to go to several auto stores before I found one that had the right style. Good luck!

I did mine up myself when I did my axle swap. Once you have the tool and practice on some extra line, it's fairly easy to make some up. It's also cheap, I think the tool was ten bucks and the line was like five bucks for a four foot section, ends included. My lines didn't resemble the stock lines very much, but they work quite nicely and haven't given me any trouble.

I have the tools and everything, even spare flare nuts for the ends (I race an ITA RX7). Just have other things to spend my time on.
Wackyracer, this is for a 12a drum rear axle. Let me know what you have: new, used, condition, etc. PM or email me. Thanks.
