Great looking product Sam!

isn't there a temp sensor on the SE right next to the oil pressure one? Why the "need" for one on the coolant outlet?

Personally, I will be using it for a secondary temp sensor to run my new cooling fans setup, while keeping my stock sensor to run my stock gauge and choke systems intact.

You can use it for another accurate temp sensor with actual numbers on there, or fan controller, or if you have a standalone ecu, your sensor would be fed into there.

Finally got around to actually finishing the first flange. I'll be making my own die for rolling a little lip around the top edge to prevent the hose from slipping out easily. Here's pictures of the flange though:

not sure why the edges look so rough in the bottom picture there, looks fine on the picture that I uploaded from my computer ... weird.

I actually have to revise my price on these too, I thought the bends would be a bit cheaper than I thought, but I was wrong. So the new prices will be as follow:

12A model - $54.99
GSL-SE - $49.99

But what I'll do though since I said that price originally, the first ten guys to buy them, will get 5$ off either version

A bung added to either one will be an additional, 12$ for a 3/8" NPT (Female). An AN version may come out if seen needed by you guys, or at special request.

Lastly, many thanks to Dave for supplying me a GSL-SE one! As a token of my appreciation, I'll be send yours back along with a new aluminum one free of charge to replace that rusty

Come on SE people. Just buy the 12A one and use a 12A hose, it's not rocket science. LOL! It works, I've done it. 12A replacement parts are way easier to find anyway.

Well the male die is done. As you can tell I've even take the time to chamfer the one edge more than the other to make it easier to slide the hose one. The back edge does have an bit of angle too, but its steeper to help in stopping a loose hose coming off easier.

Is the chamfer as tall as stock? Sometimes hoses are difficult to get on over a tall chamfer.

Yes it should end up in the right around the same as stock. It is taller on the die shown but the limiting stop which is the back edge stops it from going that deep currently.

Yeah, that's why I posted earlier that they all inter change. You could make just one, with or w/o the bung for the temp sender.

Sorry been busy and haven't had a chance to update this, but here's the final product for the GLS-SE style!

Once again, thanks David for the reference part, and I'll be sending this one out to you free of charge for providing us with the part!

Only thing I wasn't too happy about is the bead rolling, I did 2 different dies and they still come one just like a regular bead . The main reason being is the machine being used doesn't clamp in a parallel motion, it does it on angle (the back side is fixed and the front angles down on that). So unless I can find another machine that clamps straight down, we'll have to do with this.

That's a very pretty part Sam.

You're probably a little too busy to come over and race with us this weekend, eh?

Thanks Mark,

My car is still down, haven't fixed it up yet. Where are you guys racing? Maybe I'll get the parts runner to race with 97 Toyota Tercel I've been tweaking that thing to get me better gas mileage. It started out life in my hand doing about 120km per 1/4 tank, now I'm up to 170km. There's still a couple more tricks I'm going to throw at it to make it even better but I've been practicing taking turns with that sluggish thing and I think its going to help me out alot more in the years racing season. I'm getting ALOT smoother into the turns!

Sam, if you can get your **** over here, then you've got a car to drive.

We'll be racing at a venue close to the one you've been to before. Bonfire is scheduled for Saturday night as usual...

(Guess I should've sent a PM rather than hijacking your thread. Sorry.)
