Question New project on my 12a Rx7 85

Hi every one
Let me start like this I'm new to this whole racing world and to this nice forum
i have been looking around on the forum not to be asking the same question again but i didn't find any thing.
I'm just looking for a good setup that won't cost me much but still a good one.
i own a 1st gen Rx7 with a 12a engine that already have a nice racing carb.
now since they are building a racing track where i live i decided to make my Rx just for the track.
question is what can i start doing with this 12a engine.
my goal is E.T.12or13 sec 1/4 mile.

Bridge your engine, Peripheral port it, put nitrous on it or add a turbo. I'm still working bugs out of my 13B-PP and waiting for some jets for my carb and i just ran a 13.895 @ 99.5mph today. This engine should get me into the 12 sec range your better off getting a 13BT engine out of a S5

Thumbs up 12a>13bt

I'm looking forward to purchase a 13BT but i want to start with the 12A because i already have that and i first want to see how the sport is going to progress here before i make any major changes.i think it's better for me to put nitrous on it seeing that might switch to a 13BT.
