Looks like a banana.

Not for me, but if you like it, that's cool.

i think you need some black trim and some black molding. im not digging the front bumper though. however it looks like it was done well, imo, it just takes away from the sharp lines of the car.

Ian I like the yellow...duh, kinda partial to it, but Im not too big on the white hood scheme. I would say go carbon fibre, or yellow to match. I do like the white mazda badge up front, that looks sweet. Maybe some matched mirrors as well as door handles. but thats just my thing, if you like it then thats what matters most! Great Job!

It is a talon front bumper, although since it is a first gen DSM bumper they are the same thing. Rear bumper wont work as it is just way too tall (form an eclipse/talon/laser). I planned on using the stock 7 rear bumper and smoothing out the molding. I also have found some side skirts that will fit from another car, they just need a bit of work to look right. The skirts wont make the car look lower, rather they will make it look a bit wider so the front bumper sticking out past the rest of the sides wont look as weird.

Just out of curiosity what skirts are you gonna use? You got a clean lookin fb... I agree with the rest though, i'm not feelin the white hood. I think if you didn't go with carbon fiber, i would paint it flat black. Not rattle can though... alot of car companies are using flat black vinyl stickers (i.e... dodge charger daytona, ford mustang gt...) The white may contrast nicely, but doesn't seem to go with the car. And i love the wheels, i've got a set on my car. I'd like to see trochoid's idea for a two tone or polished lip. But my whole point to this post is, you got a good lookin car, i'd love to see more...

did you have to alter the front bumper at all to fit?

The stock metal bumper is no longer there. I have a round steel bar in place now. As for the bumper cover, I had to trim the back side of it to fir around the corner. The 7 front end is slightly narrower than a talon/eclipse/laser.

Depends on the shade. Like a less dramatic two-tone. Hard to describe, would need to get a Photoshop whizz to try some combinations for you.
