New owner - needs some advice

I live in south of UK

Am I OK with castrol 20 / 50 in the engine all year round.

Car is 1982 but only 44000 miles. runs great. What type spark plugs should I run and what gap on them.

oil pressure is 30 on tickover and 60 when running . Is this OK.
Advice appreciated

Paul

Welcome to the boards. You should read though the first gen FAQs.

This should answer your questions. Most people run 20W-50 most of the time, but it depends on the temperatures where you live. I imagine it is probably pretty mild weather there so maybe 20W-50 in the summer and 10W-30 in the winter. For spark plugs you want NGK or Denso plugs only (most use NGK). They are designed for the engine and are pre-gapped so you don't have to worry about that part.

The oil pressure sounds normal. Post some pics of the car when you get a chance.
