new muffler (not your adverage muffler thread)

Well guys, i got rid of my sebring muffler. I was tired of the noise. It was getting to the point where i couldnt hear the stereo...lol. anyway, my dad had a miata muffler lying around, so i put that on. Let me tell you, I like it. It sounds much better than my Sebring, its about a 3rd as loud, and ive noticed no power difference, (probably 1-2hp) with a tip, it looks about the same too. if you want a nice sounding, quiet exhaust, try that on for size.

I love other cars stock mufflers. I put a 2001 Sentra Vspec on mine. Fits perfect and is quiet as ......well .....quiet.

can you really do that, I thought due to the heat the rotor motors put out the muffler had to be specially designed?

i have the BEST stock muffler..

it's 1985 GSL-SE muffler.. very quiet and i have low end torque i crave for

maybe someday i will use the STi muff when i get a hold of one... exhuast flow should be better than my racing beat/stock GSL-SE muffler

Just ordered a Borla muffler and Magnaflow resonator to build a new exhaust from... We'll see how that turns out...
