I know squat about these cars(since I've physically only had mine for a month), but I'll pitch in a twelve pack for the person who helps'em out.

np, just be an excuse to hang out with some other Rex's. Besides, maybe I could learn a thing or two in the process.

is your tach getting signal?-- if not- replace igniter for trailing coil on distributor (funny litte thing on the side that the harness plugs into)- happens alot to these cars- can make for a no-start-with-spark situation.

Dual Weber 36 DCD Rotary Engineering setup for $350. Pics and video available of it running. Install can be negotiated, I live in Houston.

well I drug it and it started but ran like *** and didnt get above 3K rpm and I had to pump it to keep it started or rev it up... Basically ryan suggested secondaries out... so I will rebuild the carb or find a working one and see what happens

I had this problem too wit hthe 85... took the top half of the carb off, both floats were missing pieces. ripped everything off, put the Weber 48IDA in there, ran like a champ.

Will consider selling if the price is right. Weber 48IDA + a shitload of jets + intake manifolds for 12a and 13B 4port
