new member come and say hi and c my car

Howdy all, havent been on a rotary forum for some years now. I guess I should give yall the details of my car before I ask just one measly question. I have a 84 GSL-SE that I have had for almost 5 years now (2nd car first was 83 GSL) And right now I have some spare time so I am repainting my car once more, from yellow to black.

Heres whats in it:
-20,000 miles on new 13b
-racing beat s/s header to customized 2 1/2"
going to dynomax 2 1/2" muffler
-Racing beat clutch
-Wings west bodykit
-15" x 7" Eagle polished aluminum rims w/ Potenzas
-Eibach Springs
-Tokiko Illumina 5 way adj shocks and struts
-Mazdatrix 4.444 rear end
-Webber 44 carb made for racing w/ a fabricated stop
sign for the air cleaner holder
-Holly blue electric fuel pump/regulator
-Modified "hurst" short shifter
-6 ports always open
and some stuff i forgot or to little to mention

Anywho The carb was just put on recently and its not tuned yet. But theres something wrong, when I accelerate at 60-100% after about a gear the carb runs out of gas and the regulator makes a noise and a loss in over half the power is lost. this could be due to several reasons but I think it is b/c of the narrower fuel line that my car has from the old fuel ingjection, so it cant push alot of volume at low pressure like how my holly is supposed to pump.

Other people are telling me that the float might be off in the carb. there are no vaccume leaks at all And the car is running real rich because I havent the time/knowlege to tune this weird carb yet. (its cool b/c I can shoot flames whenever I want though)

Does anyone have any takes at all, or if you need more info ill get it to you.

heres some pictures

Welcome
Im not that keen on carbs anymore but test and see how much fuel pressure your carb is actually getting after the regulator... although a 44 Weber could be made to work on a 6-port 13B, its too small to fully power in an N/A application

thanx for your responses,

I have messed w/ the regulator like crazy but thats a no, what do you mean that a 44 webber couldn't fully power a N/A? Hopefully you mean that i need to strap a supercharger on that baby, if so one step ahead, I am planning on taking apart my engine and installing lightweight rotors in my engine and then getting a supercharger with a blower, all hopefully next year.

A loss in over half the power is lost?

Sounds like a good thing!

lol, thats great, no just getting primer over all of the yellow just in case of chips, the body before was a 9/10 and I just want perfection and it would of been impossible to match the bodykit with the yellow color (metalic added) so I got sick of the black body kit with the yellow car and here I am

yeah man, with some TLC you would have the hook up, I see no dents on it or anything like that. Post pics along the way.

Stay with the yellow!

I like that color in an RX. Not too many of them that color because of the stupid red interior Mazda liked soo much.

The yellow's kinda cool....
I'm curious why you chose to paint the whole car instead of just the body kit?

And white84gs, your gf looks pretty good... very similar to mine, in fact :-)

Well cant do the paint job for a while. Just blew my engine, going to do a T2 swap for the next 3 months. Already sold my full exaust and now I have a Webber 44 IDF carb with everything needed to start and with 6 port 13b intake with it and 20 jetting parts make me an offer...
