ok, I know there's a way to make the 81-85 taillight lenses clear, but is there any way to make my '79's lenses clear as well?

I think they'd look pretty cool clear....

Yeah... They're freakin bright, which is both good and bad. In the day when the sun is directly behind them or reflecting off of them, you can still see them very clearly, but they blind the hell out of you at night.

Mantis : What was it about the previous model by LEDCorp that made you discontinue them? Didn't you say someting about reliability?

Also, LED's color is based off of a certain element or mineral in them... Blue and White contain a more rare element than Red, Yellow or Green... This is why everything has Red, Yellow, or Green LED's in them, but you see Blue or White LED's in really new things, and very rarely... Usually it's something expensive that has Blue LED's in them.

Check it:

nope, I said these ones should be more reliable than cheaper ones.

I just didn't feel LEDcorp would ship in a timely manner or fill orders reliably. I've decided to only go with people who make their own goods (like JR and his rotary clock or Zach and his dual belt pulley) or established importers who'll drop-ship the day I send an order in, like the new LED supplier and the 2 sources I use for die cast cars.

What happened to Jose Reyes? I have emailed him a couple of times asking when he was going to get his clear corners in stock, but he never responed.

I want to get those already.

I do, but I want the real thing, like Jose Reyes sold. Like the ones on IoTus's car.

nice clear covers (automotive grade?) with yellow bulbs will do... just don't make them with the home depot light screen covers. i've seen people make clear corners out of that stuff and it's RICE.
