I wouldn't touch those blue bulbs with a 10 foot pole.

PLEASE look at this:

Lightbulb "You get what you pay for."

You'd have been better off spending a little more...

DOT legal Hella, minimal changes to make ECE lamp DOT... You can drop a 100/55W H4 in this: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/I...D:100000168893

cheapo ECE, w/100/80W bulbs (better than "standard" DOT beam pattern):
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/I...D:100000165781

Quality, 7" Cibie' ECE, use 100/55W for awsome high beams...
from Daniel Stern
He also has 100/55W Narva bulbs: $15/ea (no bling-bling )

The ECEs even with hot bulbs, if adjusted correctly, won't attract any attention in the sea of Xenon and bling-bling lights...

smnc has the right attitude on blue bulbs...

ECE headlight user, probably since before you were born...

I got a set of those lights (the one in the original post), and I had them in for a total of 45 minutes. They absolutely blew ***, imo. The protrusions on the back of the light did not line up correctly with the indentions on the head light housing; so, the faggy little blue light was at, like, the 8 o'clock position instead of the 6.

I took them out and went to the auto parts store. I bought the Sylvania Silverstar sealed beam replacements, and they are 1000x better than both the stock and the piece of crap eBay specials.

P.S. If anyone wants to try these eBay specials for themselves, I'll sell them to you cheap. Heh.
