How To: Post Pictures!
Ok, so a lot of people are having a lot of trouble posting pictures on the forum. Here is a quick How To on it. I use this basically everyday, and it works wonders.
Step 1: Go to www.tinypic.com
Website should look something like this:
Step 2: Click on the Browse button next to the File.
Step 3: Next it should ask you what picture you would like to upload. Select the picture you want to upload.
Select the file you would like to upload. The file I will upload will be RX7. Click it and press Open.
Step 4: Now click on the Upload Now! button.
Step 5: Now wait for it to upload. Depending on the size and your internet connection, it will take about two seconds to one minute. After it uploads, click on the second link it gives you, titled " IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"
Step 6: Now, paste it into the reply box on RX7Club! It will start with an IMG code, but the forum will recognize this as a picture and post the picture up. I have had a picture last for 2+ years when I uploaded it!

How To : Edit Your Picture Size!
Ok, part 2! So many of us have digital cameras. You have many megapixels. The more you have, the larger the picture, so to speak. So here you are with your 5, or 7, or 8, or however many megapixel camera you have. If you did what the last post said, and you posted a picture, you may end up with a HUGE picture! Here is how to make the same image, only smaller!
Step 1: Open your picture in MSPaint. Lets say you have a RX7 as your image:
But the Image is HUGE! That 8 megapixel camera is pretty awesome. This is what it looks like in MSPaint:
So lets shrink it!
Step 2: Go to the Image tab and click on Stretch/Skew:
Step 3: A box should open up like this:
See those first 2 options? Horizontal and Vertical? Set those at 50% each. That usually does it for me. If it still looks big, go back to the image tab and to stretch/skew, and set it for 50% on both again (making your image 25% of the original size).
Your first image should now look much smaller!
There you go! A smaller image of the original! This way the picture will be much smaller and not mess with the website format much, and be much easier to view to people!

Some image uploaders have a nice feature that sizes them down, too!
If you use my gallery, http://shoandgo.com/gallery2 , it uploads the full size version AS WELL AS scales the image down to a nice forum posting size.
The only downfall is you need to register. I have a script I have been toying with that uploads an image, sizes it down, and leaves it there. Maybe I should begin working on it again.
