so i have an 85 gsl with a bad dash in it. can i take one out of any other 85? does it have to be a gsl? how about the insterment cluster are they changable also?

 

Yes.. any 84-85 dash will work. There was a GSL-SE dash on good condition on e-blag the other day. 84-85 clusters are interchangeable too.

 

All 84-85 dashes are the same. Also, the clusters from those years are the same too.

i went to the local wreking yard they have a 85 dash but it is one and my dash is two. the glove box is also in a difforent spot.

 

You probably have a 83 vehicle. Like all stated, the 84-85 dashes are all the same and are pretty much bullet proof. I am going to assume that yours is cracked. Also by stating that you have a 2 piece dash meaning upper portion that is separate from the bottom that is only ones of the 79-83 era.
