new battery leaking after only a week

You all have no idea how pissed I am about this.

My dad takes my car to Sams Club to get my new tires put on. While he is there, he also has them to install a new battery because my old one was leaking.

Well, tonight I find that the new one is leaking like a ******* screen door in a submarine (like that?).

Now I'm going to ask my pops to take it back to Sams, since I don't have a membership. What a pain in the *** why can't they do **** right the first time???

bummer man, you buy something new and you expect it to last for at least a little while, and no of course not....

Make sure to clean the battery acid that may have leaked onto any body pannels.
Good luck bud.

ok I will do that. The acid IS leaking out of the top, actually. Hmm I didn't know they would do that..

MY freaking engine bay is SHOT from the last leaky battery; everything is covered in a THIN COATING OF RUST...
Any idea what to do about that? I used engine degreaser on the whole thing which just made it worse.

well u could use a wire brush and rub the layer of rust of or sandbast it. the easyest way would be with the brush, and then coat it with some kinda rust killer and the prime and paint it that i wat i did
