Some guys here in OZ USE THESE ONES
CorkSport for cheap Mazdaspeed leather gearknobs.
These are actually heavier than the stock gearknob, awesome for use with a short shifter (or a stock one). "Mazdaspeed" embossed on the side as pictured, and shift pattern on the top of the ****.
$99USD plus shipping (around $15)!!

I tried to put an after-market shift **** on my stock SE shifter and had no success. I cannot figure out what size and pitch fits the stock shifter. They send me a metric 10 and a 12 but neither fit. I went to the hardware store with the stock **** and I couldn't figure out what bolts fit it
Anyone have tips on what they did to get aftermarket products to fit?

Had the luck of getting one from a friend who used to work for a local Mazdadealer and used it in my FC. Looked and felt great especially illuminated but had to get used again to the shifting because the leaver gets shorter..
