damn, sweet looking 1st gens. I was planning on buying an SA in '09 to dump all my TII goodies into but our Governator changed the smog exempt laws so the 30 year rule no longer applies.

the rear peice should be a total redesign to include the rear bumper skin. making it not protrude out away from the rear so far, making the flow come down from the tail lights and bump out slightly if at all. i think that is what makes the rear piece of this kit look so weird.

Front is very aggressive. Side is ok. Rear is hideous - the extension on the lower side contour is particularly grating.

My thoughts exactly, I wouldn't mind to see the front/side of this kit, with the other kit that Extreme Dimensions offers for FBs

Yes, the Extreme Dimensions M-1 Speed kit looks pretty good. It would be interesting to see the rear from the M-1 with the front and side.

if this was a bolt on bodykit, u would all buy it!
it has that exotic race feel to it and its simple as well.
plus the wing that is connected to the car looks amazing

I seen the kit forsale on ebay. The back still looks dumb. I'm still gonna get it though.

Yeah I like the rear with mabie a shorter wing, also with the Mariah body kits on the side to widen it a little.

I installed the Extreme kit on my '80. Definitely not a bolt on. The bumpers stick out more on the s/a's so out came the cut-off wheel and I cut the corners of the steel bumpers back by about 6" on an angle. This way I was able to keep the stock bumpers for safety reasons. Also, the front air damn didn't fit with the moulding of the lower front fender, so their was quite a bit of cutting and fiberglass work to do. Also, you need to update the signal lights to an '81 or newer as they are the rounded ones on the front corners. All in all though, I think it looks damn sweet. I'll post pic's in a couple of days when I get it back together.

I like the lines and the curves of that purple car... but WTF was that guy thinking of when he put that Daytona style wing?!

That custom body reminds me of some sort Nissan 180sx or older 240sx...

Nice though...

Why would I want a RX-7 that looks like a 300ZX Twin turbo? That purple car is the worst looking RX-7 I have ever seen. I've seen wrecked ones that are prettier........Please don't ever post that again.

Have you ever had a really bad day and said to yourself what else could happen? Well that's what else could happen you could go outside and find your FB turned into that purple broke-*** 300ZX.

If I wanted my FB to look like a modified 2nd gen....i would have bought a 2nd gen and modified it. I like mine just the way it is. The rear of that kit reminds me of the ugly mustang GT rear end.
