Question never buy plugs again?

ok, i bought the ngkbr8eq-14 plugs for $5.09 each at advance auto parts and they took down my name, ph number and addr. and told me that they are the only store that has a two year replacement warrenty on their plugs,it was also on the receipt, do you think they will change the policy for the 7's since we replace ours normally at 9-12k miles? ...WWW.ADVANCEAUTOPARTS.COM , they have 3000 stores cost to cost and you can shop online,,,,,,what do you guys think?

I wonder what condition the plugs need to be in before they will consider replacing them under warranty??? Let us know how you make out.

After about 9k miles or so, you can always do the ATF trick to further foul them up. ;-)

9-12k? I wouldn't run my plugs any more than 6k. I think they should definately replace them for free

If you stand around and complain enough to the manager, they normally give in
I did this because my shitty Crapsman bits were breaking under lots of load (maybe too much for them), but on the package it clearly said: "LIFETIME WARANTEE", with no restrictions written on the package...

@donna Never seen a serial number on a NGK plug

But anyways, buy one set warranty a hundred LOL

Make money resaling new plugs, I bet they end that warranty quickly

By the way, if they are worn enough looking for them, then a simple propane torch outta do the trick

Ya 20 some years ago my dad bought a lifetime warantee battery for his 74 REPU from shucks and he has gone back about 5 times and got new ones. I guess they just don't think some people will hold onto reciepts or a car for that long but they still are amazed every time he does it.

Hey Donna..I buy at Advance auto too. If they say they will replace, then that is the deal. Double check before you buy , save your receipt and run in there at 9-12 k miles and get you some new plugs (if they go bad)...they can't make an exception for "rx7's"...and if they do, they have to state so. In fact, I was just thinking, I bought my set of ngk at Advance auto about 4 months ago...I am going to look at that receipt!!!....cjf...
