Neutral Switch?

I've heard somewhere that there's a Neutral switch on the tranny. In gear, it's off, Neutral it's open.

I heard it's for the Hot start assist system. In gear, it'll only rev then engine so high, out of gear, it'll rev higher...

It doesn't look like it's in a logical place in the electrical diagrams. (Section B1 and B2).

Can someone confirm the operation of this switch?

Possibly useful for remote start or other applications...

I wodner if any other Mazda Vehicles have it, or if it's located on the shifter. I could use it in my truck for the remote start.
