I know, I was going V-8, I just can't bring myself to do it. I have found a motor in PA that has 25k on it. The person is from nopistons.com. Sooo, I want it, he has it. I have read so much about people getting ripped off that I am leary about doing anothing other than C.O.D. Especialy for $800! How do most of you guys deal with this?

You can do what I do and setup a paypal account. Then you can do credit cards and everything. Best of all it's free but with $800.00 I would like to see what I'm getting too.

I did it in person, of course it was a little more than $800. depending on where in PA it is, you are looking at a 24+ hour round trip. and that is if you eat only once and only stay in PA for about 15-20 minutes. I went from Chattanooga, TN to Harrisburg, PA...24.5 hour round trip...one day.

gas was expensive, and if you have pictures of the motor and the seller has some feedback, I would have it shipped.

 

good to hear brian, i would do paypal or escrow possibly cause if something goes wrong you can reverse the transaction and get your money back and he might not be willing to cod. if you need any help putting that new motor in just let me know man.

 

I will give you a yell screwloose. As for the 24 hour drive.......I drove a truck for 20 yrs guys I know how far it is and how long it takes, I am not above going after it, I am just a little older and realy not into the travel thing anymore if you could understand why.
