Needed:

Hey fellow rx7 owners I need a fuel level sending unit for my 1985 rx7 13b I seen it on line for 100.00 but that seems kinda pricey for this unit. If anybody can help me please email me "hackthegibson24@hotmail.com" Also I am wondering if anybody can give me details on removing my flip up lights and making them stationary like a detailed plan on how to cut the plexiglass and sizes.

Measuring tape, some paper, and a marker. There is your diagram.

Does not make any difference. 84-85 are all the same.

buy it new and save yourself the headache of replacing it twice. over the years the resistance values tend to drop from corrosion and throw off the sending unit's ability to provide an accurate reading.

Unless the sending unit is highly corroded or broken, I recommend that you remove it and clean the connections on the unit and from the harness. After you clean the terminal connections on the sending unit while it is out test it for OHM resistance and see if it is in spec. It only takes a minute to test.

Bite the bullet an buy a new one. Picking up a used one can be iffy. While you have it apart, replace the oem screws with allen head one and paint them. Makes later removal easier.
