Need your input

I was given three cars. They are in somewhat ok shape. I am building one out of all three. I only have titles for two of them. The third has a salvage title and unfortunately, the salvage title one is an 82 Special Edition and the nicest of the three.

The one I want to put together is this one--> (1984) VIN JM1FB3316E0806152...Power everything but busted winshield, dented left fron 1/4 panel, hood and front bumper and everything inside has weathered for about 1 year due to the busted winshield....engine was just rebuilt prior to parking it...... I covered the damn thing this past weekend.

The other one is this one--> (1983) JM1FB3312D0758065 Good motor, supposedly. Interior is thrashed and looks like someone jumped on the roof, other than that, all the panels are good.

My question is, would you go all out and try to get all the power options working on the GSL or just replace doors and do away with all the power stuff and stay plane jane and of course, de-badge it.... The '82 is in great shape inside.....all three motors supposedly work.

Many Thanks,

-RexMan

I'd get rid of the power windows at least.
Isn't the VIN # also stamped on the firewall? Pretty hard to switch that!

That's the first thing that crossed my mind then, of course, the VIN is also on the rear diff, firewall, dash, and door jam........

I think I will take all power options out and stay plane jane......I will be popping off the old windshield this weekend and trying to pop off the one from the '82. I just hope I don't crack it.

Thanks,
