RoTARY-ReX said in another thread that..Conveting to studs is the way to go in my opinion. I just installed mine actually. Mazdatrix and several other companies sell them on-line. You aree going to need 12mmx1.5 Studs. I also went ahead and got some anodized locking lug nuts. When installing the new studs, just put a little lock-tite on the threads, they wont come loose! Good luck!
sorry i don't know how to quote people so that's the best i can do lol... but i bought my from a local shop for .50 cents a stud ( so a dollar for stud and lugnut).. but try thier first and see what u get...

I made mine out of grade 8 all thread, cut them to the length I wanted and then turned a shoulder on the ends of them so nuts would start easy, they work great!!

Maguire, i dont think you really "want" to order them from mazdatrix. I payed 60.00 for just the studs!!! I could have gotten them from another company for 80 cents per stud, but i had to call on the phone and i didnt want to risk that they could send me the wrong ones! Yes, 60.00 is alot, but what can i say, my car is PRICELESS!!

$60??? my god! I think i paid $40 for studs and lugs and locks! Oh well, thats just the way rex's go. At least you know that mazdatrix doesnt sell crappy stuff. I hope the ones i ordered are of good quality as well.

A local auto parts store sells wheel studs made by EMPI (the VW guys) in two lengths for $3/package of 5.

i looked at local auto parts stores, thinking that this really wasnt some unusual item. however, when i asked for the studs with an allen key pattern with no bolt head or anything, people stared at me with their jaws open, and said "Ohh oh oh THOSE THINGS.... nope we dont carry those"
