Need to vent
I know that our cars are fraught with problems and that there is usually a very simple explanation for why things are/aren't working the way they are.
However, these problems coupled with the long *** winter we've been having is driving me insane.
A couple weeks ago I go out to work on the car and it's frickin' way below freezing out.
Then on the next day I have off I go to start the car to trouble shoot the carbeurator, and the starter is stuck.
Now today I go out to see what's wrong with the radio to find out why it no longers turns on when the antenna goes up, and now the antenna won't go down again.
Today, I got so mad that I even started looking for a new car!
Sorry but I just needed to vent.
I feel a bit better now.
I'm sorry if this is "Lounge" material but I figured that you 1st gen guys might understand better.
:Edit: Stupid 56k double post!!!!

Airflow is my life
Well its age. My DD is reliable as a brick, and thats because I spent alot of time with it up on stands checking and re doing anything that was suspect before I put it on the road. Same with the racecar. Once you iron out the problems, she'll reward you with love.

Oh well, once spring comes and melts all the snow I can start to work on her again and not be worried that things will fatigue due to the cold.
I may even have to take time off work to work on her!!!
I just can't wait for the snow and then mud to go away ...

I know how you feel about the snow and mud. Because i don't have a garage
that i can use, my car is sitting on a muddy puddle, when it is not snow.
And one would like to spend more time enjoying, and spending time on it, but
with this northen weather it's very depressing.
If the fun is going out for anyone that has one they should just sell it to another
fan and move on to somthing else.
These cars are about love, they are such unique cars that they are worth it.
Good luck my friend, hope you feel better!

Bimmer *****
i was planning on working on my motor again today, since i can't really install it(well can't do anything with it if i did install it) till i get the new radiator, i'm cleaning up the motor as much as possible... but it is raining today, and i barely have a covering over my driveway, it may be a total of 10 feet long... was gonna clean up some parts and paint them today, but the weather does not permit painting... oh well, it will be worth it when i'm done, i'll have a real nice looking motor haha
