Need some specs
Sorry to post any thing about 3rd gens here but i like it here better and i counldn't find this info anywere else. I need to know what the some specs of a 93 94 twinturbo 13b motor. exe 4 port or 6 port, compression, hp, and can I put my first gen trani to it or do i need to get a 3rd for it.
its a 4 port motor with 9-1 compression.. you can run a 1st gen tranny if your installing the motor into a 1st gen... you must use a 3rd gen tranny if the car your working on is a 3rd gen

No mod it to accept the 2nd gen tranny, The 1st gens, and 2nd gens mounting sceme is much closer in design that the way the 3rd gen is. The 3rd gen would require major fabrication to utilize in the 1st or 2nd gen bodies (s1~s5) either way you will need to get the front cover from a 12a or 13b from a repu, and swap the front cover, an drill it for the oil return, or you could use a 2nd gen motor, lower sub frame, and wireing harness and and go ala abeomid and the complete front swap. either way, research is your friend, and you won't be nearly so apt to **** off

Ya lost me there whats the difference between them, to me a tranni's a tranni i din't know there was a difference other than power handeling capabilities. Reason I ask is I have several gen1 tranni's and drive lines, and if they will hold up I'm not going to waste money on another one.

sure , the 1st gen tranny will hold up to 500rwhp, but dont speed shift, that kills the trannys.. a usual tranny upgrade is a turbo 2 type, its easier to fab up the tranny mount, and not as much cutting on the tranny tunnel...
