Exclamation need some help!!

ok my car is and 85 gs. Rebuilt and street ported motor with the rats nest removed. Anyways the car with start up cold with the choke out and run just fine. Once the car warms up and the choke goes in it idles nice for about 5 mins. then dies. After the cars dies i can start it up again and it will idle then die again.
so any suggestions....... thanks Brad

have little pressure on the gas peddal for a bit.

Sounds almost like you're getting barely enough fuel.... how does it run on the road? Have you replaced the fuel filter?

well while driving it will just quit. so i have to pump the gas then floor it so it will stay running. we havnt replaced the filter but we checked it over and its fine. should i replace it just to be safe?? anything else??

so is the fuel filter the problem then??

Plugged fuel filters are a much too common problem and a cheap/easy place to start. After that, you start looking for other places that fuel flow can be impeeded.
