Need SE owner help

Guys, I need some help. I have an SE TB I'm fooling with. The piece of linkage that the return spring hooks to is mangled. What I cant figure out is what shape that link is supposed to be. Is it completely flat? Does it have a bend in it? A pic of that part of the TB would be awsome. Especially the part of that link opposite of where the return spring hooks onto.

Thanks

Wasn't sure from your description exactly what you were looking for Carl, but do these pics help?

P.S. Very glad to hear that your daughter's back.

Mark, there's a sticky thread in the lounge about Carl's oddessey.

So are you going to start modifying throttle bodies now too? (that would be cool!)

In case you might want them, I thought I would mention that I had taken a number of close-ups of the TB linkage, etc., on and off the car.

They are rather large to post, though.
I could reduce them in size, but we lose the detail and/or take up a bunch of bandwidth if you don't need them.

My e-mail notification doesn't seem to work but if you might need one, or all, of the photos feel free to PM or email and I'll send them by email.

(Once again, very glad to hear Amanda is back. )

-John.

Carl, I bought another GSL-SE, with a webber setup. The previous owner
also had a BAD-*** Throttlebody set-up on his SE. It was all ported and polished and had lots of little tricks here and there for greater flow.

It's one of the prettiest RE-EGI Intakes I 've ever seen too.

Supposedly, it flowed much better than stock. I know the shop that
did it back in the late 80's, and I believe it.

I am not a fan of modified intakes, if they still have to breathe through
the restrictive AFM though.

I will take lots of pictures of it for you, then place it on Ebay.

Mel, I needed a specific pic. How the hell would I search for that???????

Sounds interesting Alex, would love to see how close my ideas are to that piece. Hmmmm, sounds like I need an AFM to study as well huh?

Carl, I have an extra GSL-SE AFM if you want it. I think it is bad electrically, but mechanically it is fine. You can PM me if you want it.
