In need of a radiator - options?
To clarify, I need a radiator for my GSL that will have an 88 13B in it. Here we go:
-Are all 84-85 radiators the same?
-Are there any good replacements (like aluminum) out there to buy?
-What should I look for while hunting through junkyard radiators?
-Any chance of putting in my 88 slant-style radiator?
Thanks again.
what would I do if this forum didn't exist?

i donot think that a second gen radiator will fit in our cars.. junk yard is always a good place to look for a stock one.. but i would get a series one radiator, and oil cooler.. that way you can get the better air oil coolers.
as far as aftermarket ones go, i know that there are a couple out there that will fit, but i do not remember were to get them. (that is another one of those things that is on my rather long list of wanted parts)

So, would the rad from the automatic RX-7 be more efficient or are we better off getting a aftermarket one for our cars?

I wonder how hard it would be to fit a bigger radiator from another car, like from a 6 or 8 cylinder motor. It would be cheap if you found one in a junkyard. I guess it just depends on how much time/ equipment you have. I love having a faster car than my friends do. I especially love the fact that I spent a quarter of the money that they did on modifications because i decided to do it myself.

ahhhhh...one of the biggest reasons why bought my first RX-7. I do all the mods myself and learn in the process. What more can you ask for?
