Unhappy Need Quick Help: Won't Start!!!

Every once and awhile my car was making some odd grinding sound, but it wasnt the starter gears or anything, but usally would start after you stopped gave it a second and then tryed again...

Well today when i was going to leave i tryed to start (after just getting home from driving it like 5min before and ran fine) and it wouldnt even turn the starter over or make the griding noise, the only thing heard was a weird whirling sound coming from behind the dash and thats it......some time later i tryed again and it wouldnt even make the whirling sound..just silence..

I tryed jumping and still jsut silence, fuses seem to fine, and wires leading to the starter seem to be intact and fine..

Its a new battery, battery connectors, and starter...............any other advice??? replace grounding cables and grounds leading to starter,ect..?? Untill i get it fixed im stuck walking everywhere....

If it will roll start,it's in the starting system. Sounds like the bendix is going out on the starter or you are not getting full juice to the starter.

the bendix is what makes the thing on the starter pop out, and spin. yours is not popping out, its just spinning. youll need a new starter
