Need pics of an S3 13b intermediate housing

Hey fellow rotards, contemplating swapping a rotary into my Volvo but am trying to decide which series to use. So.... I am looking for a few pics of the underside of of the intermediate housing with the pan off. Something thrown in for scale would be great, a ruler would be awesome. It looks like a pan will have to be fabbed anyway for clearance purposes but first I need to work out the mounts.

Thanks in advance yall!

Sorry I neglected to mention that I am comparing between the s3 13b vs the s4-s5 13b.

But what about the engine mounts? I have seen a number of int housings laying around a buddy of mines shop and I seem to remember that the early 13b housings have the holes for the center mount its just the pan thats different. But thats been 4 or 5 years ago now so my memory may be playing tricks on me.

The reason I ask is:

1. I have a pretty potent S3 6 port that needs a new chassis
2. I have an 88 TII w/ a blown S5 engine
3. I have a real sleeper of a Volvo that could use some real kick to make it a truly devious car

I want the FC running and FB off my lawn and would like to keep the volvo turbocharged, catch my drift? Oh and did I mention that I get 6 mos off every year and am bored out of my mind?

Maybe I dont understand what your planning on doing.... But I would just take the turbo assy off the tII, throw it on the -SE motor, and put that combo in the volvo. Unless you need the FC style mounts for the swede-mobile.

the S3 13b should be similar to the 12A in terms or mounting. nothing in the oil pan area, just an oil pan. they just used a trans mount and a front cover mount to hold her in place

Wacky: Yeah I was the one that bought your Dell, I still have it on the S3 SE engine I am contemplating swapping into my TII. Thanks again on a great buy it has given me many miles of dependable service and turned my little 83 into a cruise missile!

Swapping the SE engine into the TII and keeping it Turbo had crossed my mind but my SE already produces more power than the TII engine so the turbo isn't really necessary. It would save me a crap load of headaches if I could just swap the TII's front cover, pan, OMP and intake setup onto the SE engine. My concern is that the high compression SE wouldn't last long, even on reduced boost. My SE engine is currently in an 83 chassis and has been a dependable daily driver for years now and I would very much like to keep that in the TII. Plus the reduction in "extra" components under the TII hood is a very tempting prospect. In my book simplicity equates to dependability and the TII is anything but simple

Thanx, FBdrift, but what I really need is the gsl-se pic. The guys over in the FC section have the s4-s5 engines covered for me. My problem is that I have limited space and I need to be somewhat inconspicuous because I'm borrowing garage space. I have a S5 TII engine in an S4 car but its burning enuf oil to be considered a road hazard, I also have a gsl-se engine that runs great but the 83 Rx its in is completely worn out. I would like to swap the gsl engine into the volvo and get rid of the 83 car. The problem is that to put the mazda gearbox in the volvo I need to use the center mounts from an FC car or fab up a bracket for the FB mount setup. The latter is a real pain because I would have to lengthen, lower, and spread the the mount whereas the FC mount just need a little offset to the front and and about 2 inches wider. A piece of 4" square tube cut into 4" lengths would give me very close to perfect spacing and would be stupid simple to make, throw in a couple solid engine mounts and voila your engine is good to go.
