how much should i pay for a t2 engine with 127.111 miles. have everything stock. thanks for you opinion.

milage is nothing, compression test is everything, unless you are planning to rebuild it, then pay core price only. Also the condition of the turbos matters.

$600 on the high end, $200 on the low end?

Well actually, compression isnt an all knowing thing... My 85 was like almost 90 or so, and then BAM front rotor blew... Rotary=almost no warning!

Compete Id pay no more than 500

Also thats a lot of miles for a T2, id ask in the 2nd gen forum

I know that compression is not an all telling thing, belive me! But it is the best way to judge a motor in my opinion. I lost a motor I put in my '83 with good compression in like 2 weeks.
