Need help on using relays

Hi everyone, i need help on finding a new power source for my DLIDFIS setup, im currently running it to the blue wire under the ignition switch


The deng thing is burning up the wire, i read somewhere that its better to wire it up using relays, but the thing is i dont know how to do that. What kind of relays should i use and how do i wire it up? Thanks. pictures would be good.

What sort of a connection do you call that?

Use the old coil + to trigger the relay. The new power source will come from the battery.

that's the "know nothing" connection lol i dnt know how to wire up a relay.

Oh and atleast get some electrical tape or something over that! I would hate to see you lose your car over an electrical fire

If it's "burning the wire" it may be due to a very poor connection.

I think its caused by an overload of wires connected to it, my electric fan is wired up to the same wire thats why, thanks for your help guys.

Good lord man! Get that fan off of there. Run the fan directly off of the bettery, through a fuse and relay of course.
