Need Help - Backseat Hardware

WTB Backseat Hardware ASAP
Okay, so I have a backseat for a 1st gen, but unfortunatly the boneyard I got it from cubed the car with the hardware still in it.

I tried puchasing a set from a forum member already, but ended up with two driver's side pivots, and only one working clip.

If anyone can please help me, I need to get a backseat in my car, so I can get my 2 year old to daycare and back.

Here's pics of the hardware and my daughter...

Thanks!
-Spencer

That's a shame, I just used my old brakets for MIG welding practise the other day. That's the definition of junk - something you throw away a week before you need it.

In my experience, mazda does a really good job of reusing designs. I would look for an old 323 or 626 hatch/wagon. May have the same or similar hardware.

Speaking of backseats, anyone know of another model whose back seat will fit into a first gen? Someone I know wants to add a rear seat, so they can still drive the car when the grandbabies are around.

Thanks...

From you pics, only the left side top mounting point actually has a latch?

That's how the pieces I got are. I assumed the right side was broken.
Is you right side broken, or is it supposed to be likt that?

My bottom pivot is the same too, except that I have two of the left side ones.

My seatbelt is completely different tho...

I was under the impression that that was how it was meant to be. I don't think its broken at all. The right one is just sort of a seat for the seat to rest in.... Maybe I am wrong and mine has been broken ever since I got it heh, but it sits fine and I have no problems with it at all...

Theres no wear on the post to indicate that there was a latch on that side in the past...

If you are worried about safety you could always run a wire or strap around the post and under the bolts holding the bracket on.
