a 94 alt is MORE Than enough. do you need to know how to wire it. search 3rd gen or S5 alternator. i have a FD alt in my 85 GSL. if you dont find anything ill give your pics and details on how to do it tomorrow.

^^ exact diagram i used. DONT jump the S and B terminals. it seems logical but will cause your alt to pull power from the battery even when the car is off. leaving you with a dead battery if your car sits for any time. just FYI

I know this is an old thread but I've got a question on it. Are you sure that you can't jump B to S terminals? I wired my old S4 turbo that way and never had a problem. I'd like to avoid killing the battery in the "new" car but do I really have to run a second wire to the battery? Is this a first gen thing only? Any help is appreciated.
