i'm looking to rebuild to 12A out of an 83 rx7. it has been sitting a long time and when i got it the guy told me that it leaked oil really bad and that it needed a rebuild. i've never messed much with a rotary engine. i'm wondering where i can find a cheap but good quality rebuild set and also when i can find some literature on rebuild it. any help would be great. thanks.

 

Dan Atkins(Atkinsrotary.com) has a good quality rebuild kit for the price. He also sells a DVD on rebuilding the rotary engine. Welcome to the forums. Search around and see if what leak you are describing is fatal(rebuild) or something that can be fixed without much trouble.

 

Atkins rotary is about the place where good rebuild kits also carry reasonable pricing. There's a few others, but not many that can also add quality to the equation.
Cheap ain't worth a hoot, if you want it right.
