Need advice on installing a holley
I just recieved my holley 4150hp and have two questions. First off this holley doesnt come with the high speed air bleeds, does it not need them or will I have to buy some?
Also how will I be hooking up the throttle cable? Im not sure where I can get one to fit the mazda sytle cable. Do I have to use the old nikki and fabricate one from it? Or if someone knows a part number or someone that sells a kit i'd appreciate the info. My car's at the body shop getting a new pant job atm so im not able to study the nikki.
Thanks for the help anyone

It's a standard holley, from summit, not racingbeat. Also, it's going into a 1980 RX-7 (not sure how much the throttle linkage differs year to year)

I have a Holley 4150 (650 double pumper) sitting on top of my blower. I bought a throttle cable mounting plate that bolts on under the carb, then made an adapter to connect the cable to the linkage...I'll try to find some pictures later.

OK...here's a picture of how I connected the cable to the carb linkage:
I made two links out of think aluminum, with holes at each end, then sandwiched the end of the cable between the holes in one end of them, and ran a bolt throught the holes at the other end and through a hole in the carb linkage. I used a nyloc nut on the end of the bolt, so that it could be left a little loose to allow them to rotate. Make sense? I'll look for a good picture of the bracket later...I think that'll have to wait until tonight after I get home.

Great picture! that was pretty much what I was looking for, Im pretty sure I can fabricate that pretty easily. I saw the bracket on Racing Beat, I may purchase that, but i'll still need to make what he made in that picture. Thanks for the info there! I'll be using mine on a blower as well
Im still a little curious about the 'high speed air bleeds'. Let me go take a quick picture of that...

Here is the second half of my two part question:
Should there be something installed here?? I belive it's the location for the high speed air bleeds, again it's a holley 4150 HP carb.

Oops...sorry about the double-post above. Anyway, here are some more pictures of my setup....one more of the links connecting the cable end to the carb linkage, and a couple of the bracket. I had to build an extension onto the bracket to provide a mounting point for the return spring. The bracket mounts under the carb and has an arm that comes out with a cable mount on it. I got mine from Camden, but this is the same one:
