this is a question I need answered.

do any of you know, own, or have seen an 85 rx7 gslse ever come in a black exterior w/ grey interior (all factory/original)?

anyone??? thanks for the answers in advance. I'm actually looking for one, but everyone's telling me they don't exist.

black over grey should have been an option.

In 1985 the car was available with paint code, H1, Sparkling Black Metallic, and grey interiors are known to exist.

I know about the sparkling black paint code, but did any of those come with a grey interior?.........have you seen one (factory original, not interior swap)?

I have personally ONLY seen black exterior w/ crimson interior.

The lighter colors usually got the grey interior.

 

ive seen a FULL black series 3 interior, cant remember where, it may have been custom

was that u? I remeber him telling me about yours, I had asked him to tell you I was interested in buying it, but then the next thing I know he told me it was totalled..........sucks!!!

Mine is an 85. Funny Story here in CT. I first bought the car back in 2002 froma guy who wnated 2500.00 but could not get it running. After 4 weeks of dealing with him I took the car home for 900.00. New battery, new plugs, unflooded the motor, she purrs!

Now for the fun part. Sold it in Feb 2003 for 2000.00. Since the minute it left me I was depressed. Even though she made me 1100 profit. Saw an add in the local paper for an 85 SE. Went to check it out. It was my CAR! The kid even had a cardboard box with my name on it with a new Air Intake I gave the people I sold it to! WEIRD.

They sold it to this lid for 3000.00. The fuel pulsation dampner was leaking and caught fire. It toasted the wiring harness, injectors, fuel rail, and oil lines. Everything else is good. Bought it back for 600 bucks!

I got the car back and I am still up 500.00! Shoot me an email and I'll send some pics. I'll never sell it again, it will go to the grave with me. It was fate it came back to me.

post pics... i wanna see the black exterior with a grey interior... mine WAS a V9 factory paint exterior with and still is burgundy interior... i've seen black and black... black and burgundy...

 

I've never seen Black with Gray interior myself. I've seen a Black with Tan interior Leather Sport (80 LS model)...but thats the only black I can recall.

 

I just met a guy today with a Black ext, and Burgundy int.

Mine is Silver with burgundy.

I'M TIRED OF BURGUNDY!!!

When i redo the interior its getting a grey/black treatment

 

My co-worker has a black one with grey interior.... I liked my charcol with grey better though.
