Vanilla flavor, masks the sea catch odor. LOL. I have used Valvoline only for 3-1/2 decades, never had an oil related engine failure.

I hear vanilla not only masks that pesky sea odor but, keeps those crabs at bay too
just regular valvoline or the high mileage stuff?

Regular, who has a high mileage 7 anyway. LOL. Crabs in the eyebrows can be irritating.

I have been using castrol, but plan on switching over to royal purple since I am using the RA OMP adapter now.

Olive oil......straight up. Less build up, and tastes much better than Castrol.

Blake and Pineapple Racing recommend against Amsoil. I can't recall why.

I use Castrol but have contemplated Valvoline. It's just part of the word 'valve' in the brand name that gives me the *******.

I too as well will be using Castrol 10/40 for the winter right now, and switch to 20/50 for the summer
the RP is just too expensive for frequent changes esp after using the seafoam...and though it hasn't been proven to actually harm a rotary .. im starting to feel the general concensus is to stay with the dino
RP will remain in my diff and tranny..it has proven itself there

once cut open a bottle of Pennzoil to make a funnel for the next oil change. there was sediment at the bottom.

Never seen this with Castrol in 15 years!
