mod ideas for bumpers????

Hellow,
Now, if someone told me to pick one thing about my car (84 GSL) that i didnt like,
I would deff have to say the front and rear bumpers,

Im not really a fan on how they stick out so much, i would luv to have some ideas on wat to do or how to go about flattening them out and making them even with the car, 40% of the reason i want a body kit is so they wont stick out as much,

But, if i can eliminate that a little easier id be a happy man,

so if anyone has any ideas for me, or even anyone with pics of wat im talking about would be unreal.

Thx alot fellas,
Joe

P.S.... if anyone cant understand this fully...illl do my best to clearify it.

I'd like to do that also. I found this pic on some for sale site a while back, no better shots of it though.
The farther back it sits, the better the clearance going up inclines.

I've thought about this as well. I don't really know what to do with the front bumper but I'm going to cut and recess the rear bumper into the body and sheet metal it all up like a roll pan on a truck. I'll do some searching and post a pic, I've posted one before

Here's my home made body kit in progress. I blew the oil out of the bumper shocks and built the kit over the aluminum stock bumpers

As I stated before, that is some awesome work you've done there. I think I like that front end more than any I have seen before...

hey the rx7 and the viper kinda have similar lines it could be possible to make a completly custom kit that make rx7s look like one, itd be like a mini me viper except its a mazda and you can still pop popcorn from the exhaust heat lol
or you could do a 3rd gen converson its been done before and it looks killer but of course its all custom work and thats probly the best way to get exactly what you want.

Hey, I didn't say it looked great, it's just an example of a 7 with the bumper shaved off.
I'm sure it could be done with more style.
